About Us
In 2011 Hennie van der Walt, studying Industrial Engineer and his wife Karen bought a small Plot in Randfontein. Both worked fulltime but had a passion for farming. They started their own feedlot as space were limited. They soon realised the need for handling equipment. Hennie then designed and manufactured his own Cattle Neck Clamp that were both easy to work and cost effective.
VDW Engineering (Pty) Ltd were then born to provide the Agri market with livestock handling equipment that is both strong and economical through continuing experimenting and learning.
